December 6, 2021

Capital Area Human Services and its partners brought in the holiday season with Santa Claus on Dec. 4, in Baker, at CAHS’ first “Driving Into Recovery with Capital Area” event.

As individuals and families drove through in their vehicles, CAHS staff distributed educational materials about behavioral health services, medication safety, and the risks of opioid misuse — particularly among women.

CAHS’ Prevention Division appreciates the following partners who helped produced the event:

CAHS Behavioral Health Services
CAHS Addiction Recovery Services
CAHS Louisiana Spirit program
The Bridge Agency
East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office Louisiana Department of Health, Office of Public Health Healthy Blue
