Click here to watch the video produced from CAHS’ “Sticker Shock” event, held April 19, at the Oak Point Fresh Market in Central.
The event was part of a three-year public awareness campaign being conducted in CAHS’ seven-parish region. The campaign warns that it is illegal to purchase alcohol for persons under 21 and features signage and posters in stores, as well as a television ad and social media outreach.
The penalties for buying alcohol for persons under 21 include arrest, jail, fines, and loss of driver’s license.
