Paul Tuminello, LCSW-BACS, Director of CAHS’ Ascension Behavioral Health Clinic and Mobile/Satellite Team, spoke recently at Methanex in Geismar, as part of the company’s Mental Health Awareness Month activities.
Tuminello’s presentation, “Behavioral Health and Finding Help,” gave Methanex staff 1) practical strategies for mental wellness and self-care, 2) guidance for recognizing when professional help might be needed, and 3) an overview of the mental health and substance use disorder services provided by CAHS.
“Paul’s lunch-and-learn received overwhelmingly positive feedback, and the Methanex staff found it to be helpful and informative,” said CAHS Executive Director Jan Laughinghouse, PhD, LCSW-BAC, LAC, CCS. “We are proud that Paul helped raise behavioral health awareness, introduced CAHS to a wider audience, and partnered with local industries to prioritize behavioral health in the workplace.”
