CAHS Social Services Counselor Rosalyn Davis, PLPC, CCGC, CAC, and Prevention Coordinators Alicia Richbourg, PSIT, and Ricki Davis Robinson, PSIT, conducted an interactive Narcan training, June 25, for employees of AmeriHealth Caritas Louisiana.
Narcan is the life-saving medication that reverses the deadly effects of overdoses from opioids. In addition to demonstrating the proper way to administer Narcan, the CAHS team talked about the symptoms of overdoses and the importance of harm reduction strategies.
