CAHS’ Prevention and Wellness Division rolled out its fourth installment of the major awareness campaign, known as “Project Sticker Shock,” on March 22, at the St. Francisville Market in West Feliciana Parish.
The campaign warns that penalties for buying alcohol for persons under 21 include arrest, jail, fines, and loss of driver’s license.
The “Sticker Shock” campaign event in St. Francisville included the participation of students who placed warning decals and posters on coolers and shelves where alcoholic beverages are sold. Media ads, and social media posts also rounded out the initiative.

CAHS Prevention Coordinator Dawn Collins serves as the “Sticker Shock” Project Coordinator, and Prevention Program Monitor Supervisor Yolanda Yancy led the St. Francisville event.
