CAHS offers Narcan training for DOJ officers

CAHS Executive Director Jan Laughinghouse, PhD, LCSW-BACS, LAC, and the CAHS Prevention Team provided Narcan training in May to 35 employees of the Louisiana Department of Justice’s Bureau of Investigation. The DOJ officers learned about the signs of overdose and how to properly administer Narcan, the opioid overdose reversal agent. The officers also received free Narcan kits and certificates of completion.
