Free Opioid Epidemic Toolkit available now

January 17, 2024
Prevention Coordinator Dawn Collins speaks about the toolkit at a church service as part of “Recovery Sundays.”

Drug addiction is not a moral failure. It is a brain disease that defies our morals, religious beliefs, and ethics.

To help prevent drug misuse, Capital Area Human Services has produced a 20-page Opioid Epidemic Toolkit to help faith leaders guide their communities to avoid the dangers of opioids and other drugs.

Also, through our Recovery Sundays outreach, our staff is visiting places of worship to provide information for faith leaders and congregations.

Click here to access your free copy of the toolkit now. Also, please call us at 225-663-6231 to arrange a visit by our staff to your place of worship or faith-based organization.
