CAHS Executive Director Jan Laughinghouse, PhD, LCSW-BACS, LAC, was the keynote speaker at the Mirror of Grace Outreach’s Parenting Wisely Community Awareness Celebration, held June 22, at the BREC Milton J. Womack Center.
Dr. Laughinghouse spoke to the 60 attendees about the prevention of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. She answered questions from the audience and talked about CAHS’ resources and services that give hope to families of loved ones who are dependent on drugs.
CAHS’s Prevention Division staff, also, hosted a resource table and provided additional information about bullying, suicide prevention, and development of coping skills.
