CAHS provides info at BR Islamic Center

September 29, 2022

The Prevention Team continues to connect with the faith-based community. In September, Prevention Coordinator Dawn Collins (pictured) visited the Islamic Center of Baton Rouge and staffed an information table that reached about 500 congregants each week. The table included Information about medication safety, opioid misuse risks, and alternatives to opioids for pain management, magnetic medication record charts, hot and cold packs for pain management, and the CAHS “Pocket Guide for Alternatives to Pain Management.”
