Baton Rouge Community College hosted its Adult Education Resource Fair, June 18, at the college’s Acadian Drive campus, and CAHS Prevention Coordinators Alicia Richbourg, PSIT, and Ricki Davis Robinson, PSIT, provided information about CAHS’ services and distributed kits of Narcan, the life-saving medication that reverses the effects of overdoses from opioids.
BRCC’s Adult Education Program offers flexible learning opportunities to help individuals earn high school diplomas or the equivalent. The program is designed to help students who are returning to school after time away or those who seek to improve their career prospects. The resource fair also featured BRCC’s Upward Bound, nursing, and welding programs.
