265 Narcan kits distributed at trainings

September 27, 2022

In September, CAHS’ Prevention Team continued its community-wide distribution of Narcan, the lifesaving reversal agent for opioid overdoses. Prevention Project Coordinator Ricki Davis (pictured) presented information and distributed 235 Narcan kits to law enforcement officers attending the Delta Task Force training, Sept. 23 and 27. Another 30 kits were distributed at a training at Journey to Insight on Sept. 29. The Prevention Division offers trainings and Narcan kits free of charge. If your agency or organization would like a training and free kits, please call 225-663-6233.
