Prevention staff helps “Heal the Block”

CAHS’ Prevention staff visited with more than 100 attendees at a recent “Heal the Block” event, providing information about the opioid epidemic and distributing Narcan kits to help reverse opioid overdoses. “Heal the Block” was an initiative of East Baton Rouge Parish Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome that hosted community gatherings in various parts of Baton Rouge on Saturdays between June and August.
