CAHS Prevention Coordinators Alicia Richbourg and Dawn Collins (pictured, left to right) brought opioid misuse prevention and medication safety resources to about 100 attendees of the National HIV Testing Day Event, held June 27, at the East Baton Rouge Public Health Unit.
At the resource table, Richbourg and Collins distributed educational materials about substance misuse, underage drinking, emotional intelligence, and medication safety. They also provided eleven Narcan kits (opioid overdose reversal medication) along with information about CAHS’ services.
