CAHS Prevention Coordinators Alicia Richbourg, PSIT, and Ricki Davis Robinson joined Social Service Counselor Rosalyn Davis, PLPC, CCGC, CAC, to conduct a three-part series of Narcan trainings in March for the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office.
The series of trainings, offered free of charge by CAHS, addressed the critical importance of Narcan in reversing opioid overdoses, and presented information about how to recognize overdose symptoms and administer Narcan effectively.
Participants engaged in hands-on demonstrations and discussed best practices in overdose prevention and harm reduction strategies.
