CAHS Director of Prevention and Wellness Services Bridget Lewis, MS-LPP, and Prevention Coordinator Alicia Richbourg, PSIT, attended the “Inspire and Recharge” Women’s History Month event, hosted March 24 at Amazon’s Baton Rouge operations center.

Lewis and Richbourg shared information about prevention, behavioral health, addiction recovery, and developmental disabilities services.
CAHS School Based Program Director Bethany Sclafani, LCSW-BACS, and School Based Therapist Carlie Dowell, LMSW, also attended and talked about their work in area schools, CAHS’ Children’s Behavioral Health Services clinic, and CAHS’ ASCEND program that helps children on the autism spectrum.
CAHS Professional Counselors Lindsay Allen, DPC, LPC-S, and Christy Jordan, PLPC, from the Capital Area Recovery Program (CARP), visited with attendees about problem gambling, prevention, treatment, and recovery services.
The event, designed to enhance well-being and health awareness, provided Amazon employees with valuable resources about domestic violence, depression, and suicide prevention. One of the attendees who had lost several family members and friends to domestic violence thanked CAHS for helping raise awareness about the issue and for sharing information about the warning signs.
