CAHS’ Prevention Team members participated in the Louisiana Healthcare Connections “Holiday Health Care-A-Van” event, held Dec. 14 at the City of Plaquemine Activity Center Gym.
CAHS Program Monitor Supervisor Yolanda Yancy, RPP, and Program Monitor Tamara Jones, PSIT, visited with attendees about CAHS’ various services and distributed information about suicide prevention and the dangers of fentanyl and binge drinking.
The festive atmosphere included giveaways, Zumba sessions, chair massages, and face painting. Participants also were treated to free health screenings, blood glucose testing, flu shots, and dental fluoride treatments for children.
