CAHS Prevention Coordinators Dawn Collins and Alicia Richbourg attended a Sept. 7 Facebook Live interview with Donaldsonville Mayor Leroy Sullivan to announce the upcoming “Driving Into Recovery” event that will be held Sept. 16, from 9 a.m. until noon, at the Frank Sotile, Jr. Pavilion, 2162 Thibaut Drive.
Collins and Richbourg talked about the importance of prevention in the community to help individuals and families avoid the dangers of drugs. CAHS’ Driving Into Recovery initiative has visited every one of the seven parishes in CAHS’ region, and this is the second visit to Donaldsonville.
