CAHS’ Prevention Team participated in the City of Faith Reentry Services Job and Resources Fair, held April 30 at the East Baton Rouge Parish Main Library on Goodwood Boulevard.

The fair brought together job seekers, employers, and community organizations to create an opportunity for networking, recruitment, and business exposure.
CAHS Program Monitor Supervisor Yolanda Yancy, RPP, and Program Monitor Tamara Jones, PSIT, educated attendees about how to apply for jobs through the Louisiana Civil Service website. They also talked about CAHS’ services and shared information about the dangers of alcohol, opioids and other drugs.
Other participating agencies included the City of Baton Rouge, Turner Industries, Mirror of Grace, Kelly Education, and the YWCA of the Greater Capital Region.
