CAHS Prevention Coordinator Alicia Richbourg and Program Monitor Supervisor Yolanda Yancy, RPP, participated in the West Baton Rouge Youth Health Fest 2024, held June 1, in Port Allen.
CAHS presented the event in partnership with Humana Healthy Horizons in Louisiana to raise awareness about the importance of physical and mental health to help youth success in school and life. Richbourg and Yancy provided educational materials about underage drinking, vaping, and how to use coping skills.
CAHS Special thanks to the following for their support and participation: Puppy Pens and Adoption, Kona Ice, Beat the Street Drumline, Dante’s Hope – Animal Rescue, and the West Baton Rouge Parish Library.
Attendees also enjoyed meeting LSU Men’s Basketball Assistant Coach Tasmin Mitchell, who autographed basketballs for the youth.
