CAHS Prevention Coordinator Alicia Richbourg (pictured above) brought opioid misuse prevention and medication safety resources to the Humana Healthy Horizons and Fathers on a Mission (FOAM) “Spring Into Wellness” Health and Resource Fair, at 3255 Choctaw Drive, in Baton Rouge
The event raised awareness about various health conditions that can affect our overall well-being and included education about nutrition, health screenings, physical activity demos, food, and more. Richbourg provided magnetized Medication Record charts and distributed kits of Narcan, the medication that reverses the effects of opioid overdoses.
