
Members of CAHS’ Prevention Team participated in Southern University’s annual Employee Benefit Fair, held Oct. 22 and designed to connect the university’s employees with community resources.
CAHS Program Monitor Supervisor Yolanda Yancy, RPP, Program Monitor Tamara Jones, PSIT, and Prevention Coordinator Ricki Davis-Robinsonm PSIT, informed the attendees about the agency’s prevention, behavioral health, addiction recovery, and wellness services.
The CAHS representatives also shared valuable information about Narcan training and the “Recovery Sundays” initiative. Those programs are designed to raise awareness and provide support for individuals and families impacted by substance misuse.
One of the attendees shared her story of addiction and recovery, offering to appear in a video to help others find their paths to recovery and healing.
