CAHS Prevention Project Coordinator Ricki Davis Robinson, PSIT, attended the “No Judgment, Just Grace: Understanding Addiction & Supporting Recovery,” in Baker on Sept. 16.
Community members gathered for fellowship, honest conversation, and shared commitment to support recovery. The event was inspired by Baker Councilwoman Desiree Collins (District 3) whose vision helped create a welcoming space for learning and connection.
On behalf of CAHS and the agencies various services, Robinson shared faith-based resources, distributed free kits of life-saving Narcan, and visited with attendees without judgment and with compassion and a commitment to offering hope.
The event was part of National Recovery Month (September) activities and served as a powerful reminder about how essential it is to build environments where people feel safe to learn about addiction, explore the realities of recovery, and discover practical ways to support individuals and families who may be struggling.
