CAHS Prevention Coordinators Ricki Davis-Robinson, PSIT, and Alicia Richbourg, PSIT, joined Social Service Counselor Rosalyn Davis, PLPC, CCGC, CAC, in conducting a Narcan training, Dec. 2, for employees of Families Helping Families of Greater Baton Rouge.

Narcan is a lifesaving medication that can reverse the deadly effects of an opioid overdose.
During the training, the CAHS team demonstrated the proper administration of Narcan, discussed the signs and symptoms of an overdose, and emphasized the importance of harm reduction practices.
