On June 26, The Prevention and Wellness Team participated in the NAMI Louisiana State Conference 2026 that brought together community members, advocates, and mental health professionals for an inspiring day centered on mental health awareness, education, and connection.
Throughout the conference, participants heard from knowledgeable speakers and explored resources designed to support individuals and families affected by mental health conditions.
Members of CAHS’ Prevention Team provided information to attendees and networking partners about the impact of video games, gambling, and social media on mental health, as well as the importance of the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. These efforts align with NAMI Louisiana’s commitment to empowering communities through education, support, and hope.
