CAHS representatives participated in a free community clinic event, hosted May 31 by the Love Impact Coalition at the Raising Cane’s River Center in downtown Baton Rouge.
The event, designed to enhance access to healthcare and support services in the community, attracted more than 500 attendees and provided free dental, vision, and medical services, as well as a wide range of community resources.
CAHS Social Service Counselor Rosalyn Davis, PLPC, CCGC, CAC; and Prevention Coordinators Alicia Richbourg, PSIT, and Ricki Davis Robinson, PSIT; informed attendees about CAHS’ various services and opioid overdose prevention, distributed free kits of Narcan, and conducted trainings about the use of Narcan to reverse the deadly effects of overdoses from opioids.
