CAHS Prevention Team attended the 3rd Annual “Heal the Block” Initiative, held Aug. 24 at Memorial Stadium in Baton Rouge
The community event provided a safe place for fun, performances, and food. The CAHS Team engaged and challenged attendees to “spin the wheel” to win promotional items, such as t-shirts, socks, and cell phone stands.
Visitors to the CAHS booth also received information about the dangers of vaping, electronic cigarettes, and fentanyl.
Heal the Block, organized by the Baton Rouge Community Street Team, is designed to provide resources and services to individuals who live in at-risk neighborhoods and who are less likely to have the resources they need.
