
The Head Start Community Resource Fair, held Sept. 25 at Bains Elementary School in St. Francisville, offered education and engagement for area residents, school administrators, parents and students.
CAHS Program Monitor Supervisor Yolanda Yancy, RPP, and Program Monitor Tamara Jones, PSIT, talked with attendees about the adverse impacts of social media on mental health and about helping youth cope during difficult times. The pair also shared information about the dangers of drug and alcohol use.
Other vendors at the fair included the West Feliciana Parish Hospital, RKM Primary Care, West Feliciana EMS, Families Helping Families, Council on Aging, and Louisiana Healthcare Connections.
