CAHS’ Prevention Team members Tamara Jones, Alicia Richbourg, Ricki Davis Robinson, and Yolanda Yancy participated in a Trick or Treat event, hosted Oct. 31 by the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office at BREC’s Ben Burge Park gymnasium.
Nearly 1,000 people attended the event that included entertainment, music, cake walks, and a kid-friendly haunted house.
CAHS’ staff joined the fun, distributing candy and bags filled with CAHS’ promotional items. The team also provided information about and kits of Narcan, the life-saving medication that reverses the deadly effects of overdoses from opioids.
