Pictured above (l-r): CAHS Prevention Coordinator Alicia Richbourg, PSIT, and Social Service Counselor, Rosalyn Davis, PLPC, CCGC, CAC, participated in the Job and Resource Fair, hosted April 28 by City of Faith Reentry Services at the East Baton Rouge Parish Library main branch on Goodwood Blvd.
Richbourg and Davis provided valuable education and resources about alcohol, tobacco, and other drug prevention and kits of Narcan (naloxone) nasal spray, the life-saving medication used to reverse opioid overdoses.
Attendees also engaged in meaningful conversations about substance use awareness, prevention strategies, and helpful community resources.
“Events like this highlight the importance of community collaboration in supporting individuals and families, particularly those navigating reentry, by connecting them with essential resources and empowering them with knowledge to make healthier choices,” said Richbourg.
