CAHS representatives attend Trauma Summit

Pictured (l-r): Social Service Counselor Lisa Patin and School Based Behavioral Health Program Director Bethany Sclafani, LCSW-BACS represented CAHS at the Trauma Summit, held Nov. 14 in Baton Rouge. Sclafani is a member of the Capital Area Trauma Collaborative (CATC) Committee, which hosted the event with support from Whole Health Louisiana (WHL). The event brought together regional providers to introduce trauma-informed care principles, to showcase resources and programs, and to launch a sustained commitment to ongoing collaboration. Patin and Sclafani informed attendees about CAHS’ various services and participated in exercises about how to make a more “trauma wise” community.
