CAHS Prevention Coordinator Ricki Davis Robinson, PSIT, and Social Service Counselor Rosalyn Davis, PLPC, CCGC, CAC, conducted a Narcan training session on May 15 for the U.S. Probation and Pretrial Services office in Baton Rouge.
The training covered the importance of Narcan, which reverses the deadly effects of overdoses from opioids. The CAHS team also described symptoms of overdoses and how to administer the medication effectively. Attendees participated in hands-on demonstrations and discussions about overdose prevention and harm reduction.
