Representatives of CAHS visited on April 14 with staff and youth from Youth City Lab in Baton Rouge to provide insights and feedback about youth-led research focused on mental health trends among their peers.
At the session, participating teens presented programs they developed to address mental health stigma, increase awareness of available resources, and create intentional spaces for open dialogue, self-care, and emotional support.
Each group delivered thoughtful presentations outlining their ideas and strategies. The CAHS staff members provided constructive feedback to help the students improve, implement, and expand their ideas.
The presentations were held at the Capital Area United Way headquarters.
