CAHS Prevention Coordinator Alicia Richbourg attended a heartwarming and successful Community Baby Shower, held June 22 in Zachary and hosted by Southeast Community Health Systems.
The event was a vibrant celebration filled with joy, support, and valuable resources for expecting parents in the community. Local healthcare providers staffed the event, offering baby-care products and information about nutrition, prenatal and newborn care, parenting, and more.
Richbourg visited with attendees about CAHS’ Nurse Family Partnership that provides unique help and services to first-time mothers, newborns, and children up to two years of age. She also provided information about CAHS’ Prevention Services, including suicide prevention, alcohol and drug misuse, and medication safety.
