CAHS Prevention Coordinators Alicia Richbourg, PSIT (pictured above), and Ricki Davis-Robinson, PSIT, participated in the annual “Faith & Blue” event, held Oct. 13 at Elm Grove Baptist Church in partnership with the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office and Envision Baton Rouge. The CAHS team provided information about the agency’s behavioral health and prevention services and distributed kits of Narcan, which reverses the deadly effects of overdoses from opioids. Faith & Blue is a national organization that helps strengthen community bonds between law enforcement and faith institutions. The organization’s website notes the involvement of 1,003 host communities, 1,600+ local faith-based organizations, and 1,000+ law enforcement partners. Learn more here.
