River Parishes Community College hosted its lively Spring Fling on April 16, bringing students, faculty, and staff together for an afternoon filled with food, fun, and entertainment.
The event featured classic Louisiana fare — boiled crawfish and jambalaya — along with sweet treats including cotton candy and snowballs. Attendees enjoyed unique attractions such as camel rides, a petting zoo, inflatable fun jumps, a 360 photo booth, and music from a live DJ who kept spirits high.
Representatives of CAHS’ Addiction Recovery Services informed students about CAHS’ services, support, and resources. CAHS’ staff also distributed promotional items and talked about the importance of wellness as an important part of the college experience.
