CAHS Prevention Specialists Ricki Robinson Davis, PSIT, and Alicia Richbourg, PSIT, along with Social Service Counselor Rosalyn Davis, PLPC, CCGC, CAC, led a Narcan training session at Priority Care on Jan. 23.
At the session, the CAHS team provided updated data about opioid overdoses in Louisiana and highlighted the critical, life-saving role Narcan plays in reversing the deadly effects of opioid overdoses.
Participants engaged in hands-on demonstrations about the proper administration of Narcan and heard presentations about overdose prevention, harm reduction strategies, and overdose symptoms.
