CAHS conducts Narcan training for Iberville law enforcement

CAHS conducted a training on July 1 for Iberville Parish law enforcement officers and staff to provide information about Louisiana’s opioid overdose trends and to help officers recognize the symptoms of overdoses. The session also included hands-on demonstrations about the proper administration of Narcan, which reverses the deadly effects of overdoses from opioids. CAHS Social Service Counselor Rosalyn Davis, PLPC, CCGC, CAC, and Prevention Coordinator Alicia Richbourg, PSIT (pictured above), led the training, which also featured discussions about overdose prevention and harm reduction strategies.
