Pictured, second from right: CAHS Director of Prevention and Wellness Services Bridget Lewis, MS-LPP, attended the East Baton Rouge Schools’ “Substitute Success Social,” hosted by the school system’s Office of Human Resources on Feb. 12. The event provided substitute teachers with valuable information about community resources for students and their families. Lewis shared important information about alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. She also highlighted emotional intelligence tools that include check-in charts. The charts promote self-regulation, emotional awareness, and social-emotional learning, and equip educators with strategies to support their students’ well-being.
