CAHS’ Director of Prevention and Wellness Services Bridget Lewis, LPP, participated in the Broken But Healed Health and Community Fair, held on May 30 at the Greenwell Springs Road Regional Branch Library in Baton Rouge.
The free community event afforded attendees the opportunity to take charge of their health and learn more about local community resources.
Lewis educated attendees about CAHS’ various services and shared information about trauma, coping skills, and the Louisiana 988 Helpline for mental health.
Other vendors included Geaux Chiro Chiropractic Care, Pinnacle Community Care Services LLC, CareSouth Medical and Dental, and the Baton Rouge General, which provided various health screenings. Attendees enjoyed food and fun activities, along with face painting for the entire family.
