In this episode of “The Area,” CAHS Executive Director Jan Laughinghouse, PhD, LCSW-BACS, LAC, and Certified Peer Support Specialist Ivan Toldson feature a presentation that Toni Bankston, LCSW, BACS, gave recently at the CAHS Annual Training. The training was designed to help CAHS’ staff understand the importance of self-care techniques, like meditation and personal wellness plans, to help manage stress that can accumulate from helping others deal with their stress, anxiety, and trauma.
