CAHS continues its outreach to provide training about life-saving Narcan, the medication that reverses the deadly effects of opioid overdoses. On July 14, CAHS’ Prevention Team collaborated with the state Office of Public Health to train the staff of the public health unit in New Roads. On July 22, CAHS staff provided a training for the 19th Judicial District Adult Recovery Court in Baton Rouge. Free Narcan kits and trainings are available by calling 663-6233.
