Christa McAuliffe Center’s Career and Resource Fair

Pictured: Program Monitor Supervisor Yolanda Yancy, RPP, represented CAHS at the Christa McAuliffe Adult Learning Center’s Career, Job, and Resource Fair on April 24. The event was held for Adult and Continuing Education students in the HiSET (formerly  known  as GED), English as a Second  Language  (ESL), and workforce training (OSHA, CPR, First Aid, AED) programs. Yancy talked with the students about CAHS’ mission and services, and the benefits and career opportunities as a Louisiana state employee. She also informed the students about the dangers of alcohol misuse, vaping, smoking, and other health threats.
